Floudi: Ensimmäiset vuosijuhlat Salon kampuksella - The first Anniversary Gala in Salo campus

Syksyllä aloittaessa toimintaamme, mietimme mahdollisia projekteja tulevalle vuodelle.

When we started our cooperation in august, we were thinking about potential projects for the coming year. We came up with an idea of arranging the first Anniversary Academic Gala for business students and instructors. We went on to fulfill our idea with cooperative Idea-Miilu and the date 28.2.2014 was chosen. 6 members from Floudi and 2 members from Idea-Miilu are working on the project.

The main idea for the Anniversary Gala is to bring new style of student life to the Salo campus that can be enjoyed by instructors and staff in addition to the students. Festive dressing is expected from the participants of the Anniversary Gala; evening dress for men and women. A dark suit is also accepted for men. Good food, quality drinks and an entertaining show is enjoyed at the party.

Tämän vuoden juhlat järjestetään upeassa Wiurilan kartanossa ja jatkoja mennään viettämään Bar&Grill Rikalaan. Juhlat alkavat yleisen kaavan mukaan cocktail –tilaisuudella, jossa on tarkoituksena seurustella juhliin tulevien ihmisten kesken, luoda uusia tuttavuuksia ja saada juhlallinen ohjelma käyntiin hienostuneesti. Virallinen ohjelma koostuu mm. ruokailusta, puheista, palkitsemisista, lauluista ja tanssimisesta livebändin tahtiin.

This year’s Anniversary Gala is held at the illustrious Wiurila Mansion, and the afterparty at Bar&Grill Rikala. The Gala will start with a coctail party, where one is supposed to mingle with the other guests, make new acquaintances and to get the party going in a civilized manner. The official programme consists pimarily of dinner, speeches, awards, singing and dancing to live music.

Tavoitteenamme oli saada vuosijuhlan lipun hinnasta opiskelijaystävällinen, joten yhteistyökumppanien etsiminen oli todella tärkeää. Meidän onneksemme useat yritykset lähtivät tukemaan toimintaamme. Ilman heidän tukeaan emme saisi juhlia järjestettyä.

Our goal was to get the price of the party student friendly, so finding sponsors was extremely important. Lucky for us, many companies went on to support our Anniversary Gala. Without their support we wouldn’t have been able to arrange the party.
